I know it's a hard time for Lillian, but I am glad she got this moment to let out a bit of anger there. (in the first panel) 

It's a frustrating thing, when everyone around you categorize you as a certain something (in this case, totally asexual and even ignorant when it comes to anything related to sex), and you want out of this identity but everyone's too used to see you as such. 

In which case, I'd say "go and be who you are, how you are, and the people around you will have to eventually see you're more than just a projection they made up". So, Lillian, go flirt however you want. No one here will mind :)
