I don't know if this scene (with the next strips) was clear enough, with what Roomie meant, and how she connected the current low self-esteemed Matt with Lillian's own lack of self-esteem. I think I could have done better, with a little rewriting here and there, maybe an extra scene with Lillian being down with herself (we saw a little bit of it when her shoulder angel and shoulder demon popped out but Roomie wasn't there to see that). 

I do like to remind people that they're not lame, nor friendless, nor worthless, I think it's incredibly important to remind ourselves that life's not easy at times, and we need gentleness and forgiveness towards ourselves more than we need the harsh words. The scene between Matt and Roomie was me expressing this very essential message.
