Aah, the rum and tea strip! 

When many, many readers asked me "I WANT TO TRY HOW DO I MAKE THIS WONDERFUL SOUNDING TEA" and my only response was "uuum, I don't exactly remember because drunk".

(but I might've searched a bit on the internet to be able to give better answers than that)

And I do get people who especially liked this style, at this period of GGaR. It looks nice and clean, and leans in on the everyone-in-this-comic-is-sexy kind of vibe. With the small and curvy mouths, and the slightly slit eyes and the triangular and thin chin and jaws. 

All good ingredients to make 'em look properly good looking, at least that's how certain types of media (and part of our society) likes to think.
