Thank you Eve for at least helping Lillian realize that she and Roomie have something together.
It was baby steps for me as well, as the author, you know? ;)
Eve's really getting into the "I'm listening and helping someone out that isn't me" and I'm very proud of her for having this moment with Lillian!
Maybe she unconsciously had pushed Lillian away (by being a little distant and even a little judgemental) because she feared that Lillian would judge her as unfit for her brother. Judging others for fear of being judged oneself :) (or at least fear of being hurt by them)
Now that Lillian knows Evelyne actually cares about her, and Lillian doesn't seem to hate her guts and seems to accept talking to her, Eve can now relax a little and not be as tense around her as usual.
And I'm only talking about Eve here, but Lillian hasn't had too much affection for Eve either! It was a mutual thing :D (but now it's mutually changing!)
--> This is a rerun of the finished webcomic Go Get a Roomie! You can find these two strips in the old archive >here<!
