Chapter 5, here we go!

There's a lot I like in these strips :D the little details, like Lillian's hand in the mirror coming out of it in panel three, and how Vince and Lillian spot each other through the mirror and Lillian comes out of a shard to reach him.

Also, Lillian's first swear we see in the comic! While Roomie never swears (at all?), Lillian does from time to time, and every single time it happens, GGaR readers were shocked! They always forget she'd swear a few times before. It just didn't register in their minds that she could use this sort of language, and I found that a fun and interesting thing to notice :)

Ah, the dream world. So much potential for jokes and meta-humor!! And thanks to Lillian's ability to lucid dream, the possibilities were quite literally endless. 

And you can feel the inspiration flowing in in those strips, especially the first one. I feel like that strip really showed off the qualities of my drawing style at that time. I remember having come across some superwoman or wonderwoman fanart with a pose similar to the second panel there, and I really dug the art style, and observed the shortcuts used in certain angles (for the arms, legs, etc). I can't remember the artist's name at all, sadly, but it inspired me to draw a similar pose in my own strip, and I was very proud of the result! (and the peace and contentment emanating from Lillian's facial expression)
