The hand gesture that Kris does in the last panel of the first strip is a reference to a Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy moment, I forgot in which comic :D (I think Catwoman's the one who uses that gesture for those two?)

The "brah-bump" was very much an Adventure Time moment, inspired by that goofy but goody show. And inspired by my own way of greeting my brah! Hello brah!
