All right, for realsies commentaries now: 

I very much liked the relationship I made up between Jo and WOC. It was never my intention until suddenly the idea popped into my head and I immediately thought it funny, to have a sort of rivalry? between the two. 

It's kind of like a rivalry especially when Roomie has to choose between seeing WOC, or going to Jo's bar (as we see in one strip in particular). WOC representing something more sober and wise (though still has her weed pipe!) and Jo representing more of a wild and drunk side. Both have their advantages, but in the long term, one definitely has my preference over the other :)
