"Your face SCREAMS zen!" ahaa, I do love some of these dialogues :D

Featuring Roomie's panic that's absolutely confirming every reader's thoughts. 

But of course our two main characters are too much into their own thoughts and insecurities to realize the truth behind their reactions (and feels). Lillian is taking this as a sort of rejection, not knowing she was telling Roomie how much she cared for her which went beyond just a friendship, and Roomie knows something is up but not just from Lillian, there are probably a lot of emotions going on within herself as well, and she can't handle it like she usually can (meaning finding an escape route, usually by distancing herself, physically or emotionally).
