Oh hey wow, in the second strip, first panel you can see the form of a black panther (or at least a big black cat)... and what do you know, we see a black panther much later on in the comic in Lillian's dreams! Incredible work there, past-chlove (though you probably did this half-consciously but shhhh readers don't have to know)

Aah, the dream realm. A huge inspiration was my own lucid dreams, and I was fascinated by them! 

I don't have much of them these days, but at that time when writing GGaR I was deep into it, sometimes even experimenting things in the dreams to see how "far" I could go with it. It definitely emphasized my already solid belief that our reality was only one of many.

And I love to read these sort of meta topics in comics and books myself, so I'm glad I could do this in GGaR through Lillian as well! Not only for the dialogues either, but the psychedelic backgrounds I could draw too! 

This was before starting Headless Bliss, and Lillian's dreams and stories were expressing my desire to draw something else than bar and boob scenes, as much as I loved those as well :)
