It's in her dreams that we see a lot more of Lillian's personality, huh? She feels free, in them. No exterior world to judge her, no one to tell her gravity is a thing: dreams are her freedom. And so are the stories she writes, where she makes her own rules on how the world works.
Second strip: Aah, drawing people kissing. Even ten years later I feel like a newb when drawing two people kissing. It's very difficult! Gotta get the faces and angles right, and for the drawing to really show the two connecting with each other, interacting with each other. I think I've already said this but: erotic/porn artists are AMAZING and it takes a lot of skills to make it work!!
I was speaking about using reference in the last update or two, and I can tell that I've used references for the sword Lillian uses because I wouldn't have been able to draw this good-looking sword without it! It's not extra-ordinary nor very unique, but it has enough of a solidity and basic design that it's obvious I had done a minimum of research before drawing it in there. Good job chlove :)
And probably googled some dildos to draw that too :D
--> This is a rerun of the finished webcomic Go Get a Roomie! You can find these two strips in the old archive >here<!
