Ah, Evelyne! You started out as an open-minded librarian and you became... well you were always open-minded on some things actually, but we didn't know much about your personality back then, huh?
Not that I'm assuming anything. (and not that you're showing much of that personality of yours... yet!)
I do like that first meeting between these two though! They're so unlike each other and yet...
But let's talk about Chi Gong, or rather Qi Gong, or Chi Kung or-- there are many ways to write it.
Little did we know that it was a hint at Roomie's parents at the time! Yes even I didn't know it was connected (I can pretend I knew her parents were Tai Chi teachers back then, but... well I don't really feel the need to pretend anything :))
It was also a nice detail to add for Roomie's character, that I'm only really realizing now: how she does have healthy habits at times, and isn't just a joyful little ball of gradual auto-destruction through alcohol. She has her own forms of self-care, and I'm very glad to see that! Good for you Roomie<3 keep it up<3
(yes I care very much about my babies)
--> This is a rerun of the finished webcomic Go Get a Roomie! You can find these two strips in the old archive >here
