That was the same story my friend told me about, how they got their nickname (which wasn't "watch", I DID change that for the comic, had to change a few things...), which became their real name for me. 

And yeah, the skinsuit was apparently a thing and BOY did I not like imagining myself getting into one, as I loath anything too tight on my skin, I think this would have been the worse time... and yet, for people like my friend, that was (for a moment) the only way they could go outside and survive.
