Ironically, Allan will probably have way more threesomes in his life than Roomie ever will ;)
Did Roomie and Allan ever have little moments like that, just the two of them, again? I don't think so. A shame, they were becoming fast friends and it could've been nice going back to them checking in on each other. But I guess Allan was too caught up with shipping Lillian and Roomie together, so... priorities, I guess!
I'm glad past chlove had the sensibility to respond to Roomie's first panel inquiry of "so you're bisexual so you must have threesomes" with Allan's "that's not really how it works". I feel like it's a very stereotypical thing to assume, and bi peepz could be represented in better ways in today's media. Like the ever tiring "but you have to choose" or "oh so you married a guy so you're not really bisexual in the end" and all that crap. I mean, okay, if it's the first time someone really learning about bisexuality, why not. Ignorance doesn't equal hatred. But if they can't understand the second, third, fourth time someone nicely explains to them then that's when it can get a little tiresome (and when the question of "do you even want to understand" can arise).
And it's really telling of a society and its obsession with binary when so many people can't wrap their heads around being attracted to more than one type of gender, even when you're married. Always wanting to put people in ONE BOX AND ONE ONLY YOU HAVE TO CHOOSE AND CHOOSE WELL.
Thing is, as one person, we are a million things.
