All right, here's a nice juicy reveal for you: if I ever wanted to give Roomie a "real" name, my headcanon was that her parents had actually named her "Rumi" (inspired by the Persian philosopher Rumi, who has so many good quotes guys, go check it out for yourself!)

And so everyone in this comic went around nicknaming her Roomie, but since it's the same pronunciation as "Rumi", it really was her "real name"!

So in that panel, when Roomie quotes the philosopher Rumi, and says "you may call me Rumi", it's like she's letting Lillian in on the secret ;)

I'm sharing this because it's something that was in my mind for a long time, but, while I toyed with the idea, it wasn't something necessary to talk about in the comic (for me anyways). Roomie is Roomie!
