"A few days ago"?? Wow, I really did make this a packed time period huh? I think if it were me now I would've said "weeks ago" but hey, it's not like it's my story any longer (it's past chlove's and yours!)

I see that this was the time when I drew pupils in the eyes. It's not that I don't like doing it anymore, but there is a simplicity I enjoy without the pupils. For now, at least. (and it's such a common thing in modern cartoons and comics too)

I remember someone telling me they particularly liked how some pupils were dilated when facing light sources, making it extra realistic in those kinds of small details. And I remember thinking "oh yeah, that does make me look smart/clever huh? I'll keep doing that!" and really worked to get it right most of the time.

Nowadays I wouldn't think it important at all, though not necessarily bad either, just... my drawings have other priorities ;)
