Ah, that strand of stray hair in front of someone's face, just asking for someone to tuck it away. It's a subtle little thing, but adds a lot, which I only found recently (in my most recent comic Little Tiny Things). Not only does it invite the potential tucking of strand of hair, but it also adds a nice credibility to characters with long hair. There's always a stray hair in front of someone's face, well, often enough anyway. And it might also just add colume, like a foreground or something.
I also still really enjoy this interaction with WOC and Lillian :)
And look at me, taking the time to draw objects accurately and with reference! That's not something I always did back then, so let's enjoy that as well.
--> This is a rerun of the finished webcomic Go Get a Roomie! You can find these two strips in the old archive >here<!
