You know it was while I wrote the first chapters of GGaR that some comments I read from readers kind of brought things in a new light. Oh, is Roomie's lifestyle and actions problematic in any way? Naaaaaah, I'm just writing a cute drunk hippie pervert! Nothing problematic about any of that!
As I've said in previous strips, I regret none of it, and I'm glad for the experience of it all (and I'll stop repeating it or else you might think I doth protest too much!) And honestly? I wish the internet and social media were as patient with some people and art, as most roomie readers were with me. GGaR is not a perfect comic, far from it. But it is the readers' feedback and love for the characters that helped me change and improve my story-telling, not yelling and anger. The internet could use less of those, in my wee humble opinion! (but you know it's true ;))
