This comic sometimes has very serious, realistic moments, and other times I just wanted to have fun with it, you know? That first dialogue of the guy going "thanks for buying our super duper extra fancy blabla" wasn't realistic at all for a professional selling you expensive hardware, it was just me having fun. 

Do you think GGaR handled that balance between realistic and more spur of the moment willy nilly comic jokes? 

I think it sometimes did, sometimes might have been better handled. I think sometimes I was scared to either be too serious, or be too jokey. And when you act out of fear, it doesn't usually work out as well as when you act out of love for your work.
