Classic Merlin!

Honestly it's a clever little idea: what she quotes as "what Merlin would say" is actually what Merlin does say in the book the Knight in the Rusty Armor. 

And I agree with them: why do you need to prove yourself to be anything, if you are that something? It's more of trying to prove to yourself that you are what you want to be, more than anything, no? Not that it's a bad thing, necessarily. But it can be a lot of pressure on oneself. 

Sometimes just being is enough.
